In this third and final film of the blockbuster Blade series Wesley Snipes return as the day-walking vampire hunter in Blade: Trinity on Friday at 9 pm on HBO. For years, Blade has fought against vampires in the cover of night, with the world unaware of this war. But now, after falling into the crosshairs of the FBI, he is forced out into the daylight. Adapted from Marvel Comics, the story begins when a group of vampires resurrects the all-powerful Count Dracula. To defeat him Blade must team up with the Nightstalkers – a group of similar-minded hunters whom he trusts.

Even after completing 11 years, CID has not lost its appeal

CID, on air every Friday at 10 pm on Sony Entertainment Television, has completed 11 years. But unlike many long-running soaps, it has not lost its appeal. Over the years the TRPs may have dipped but CID has maintained its lead and over other shows of this genre. The format has remained the same. The CID team led by ACP Pradyuman tracks down larger than life criminals and unravels the mystery behind seemingly unsolvable cases in one hour. The crime-combating technology depicted is as close to the real thing as possible. But it is the slick performances of its main protagonists that keeps interest alive in the series week after week.— NF
