Rhyme Time
Gift of nature

Have you ever carefully seen nature?

It’s so bright and colourful

Nature makes its own rules

Just like we have in a school

From nature, we get plants and trees

Please don’t harm these

As they contribute a lot

In cleaning the polluted air’s blot

Have you ever thought

How the world would be

Without fresh air, we cannot

even breathe

Don’t harm nature

As you all have seen

How precious it has been

Divya Mittal, VI,
Red Springfields Public School, Yamunanagar

Dear Ishmeet

Dear brother Ishmeet, you were India’s star,

But why have you gone so far

Our eyes can’t find you here

But in our heart we can feel you everywhere

You had a pleasing nature, everyone tells,

Your absence can’t be filled by anyone else

Mother India has lost a precious son

He was ambitious, talented, innocent, all combined in one

Your love for music made

you a celebrity

You’ll remain in our memories

till eternity

This shining star wanted to shine

the brightest

But to achieve this aim, one lifetime was not enough

Balwinder Kaur ‘Pinky’, XII Arts,
(SPS) Sangrur Public Sr. Sec. School, Sangrur
