Rhyme Time
Raindrops

Little raindrops fall on me

They fall on the land, they fall on the sea

They make me fresh, they hide the sun

I play with them, it is such fun

They fill the lakes, they fill the sea

And they wet everything with ease

They create big puddles

on the street

That is the place where

children meet

In this rain children like me and you

Jump on the water and get

wet all through

We waddle and enjoy in the rain

Dancing and singing

we form a chain

We splash in the puddles

The first thing better than

mom’s cuddles

And along with you, along with me

These raindrops also

dance with glee

And so friends, the street is filled

With us in rain, which the

raindrops build

And then, on our arms is

a firm hold

And mom says, "You’ll catch cold"

Though forlorn and sad,

we do not forget

The fun we had with the rain drop.

My guava tree

My lovely guava tree

How many seasons have you passed?

I had seen you in winters

I had seen you in summers too

You withstood the deadly heat of summer

And let me rest under your shade

You faced the coolest of winter

And yet remained green

My lovely guava tree

You are evergreen
