Rhyme
Time
Mother’s day

Dear mom, you are great

You wake me up early so that I don’t get late

You cook tasty food

Which brightens up my mood

In the evening, you become a little harsh

Because you want me to work hard

Mom, I am a kid and love to play

But I promise I’ll work hard from today

For me, every day is a mother’s day

Our hero

We need a hero to show us the right way

We need a leader to guide us night and day

He’ll teach us the lesson of honesty

He’ll tell us the meaning of equality

He will suggest us new possibilities

He’ll tell us our responsibilities

He’ll be a silver lining for those in pain

He won’t think his monetary gain

He will introduce reforms and laws

He’ll be without any flaws

For the pursuit of excellence, he would strive tirelessly

Then only he’ll be called a hero unanimously

We want a hero not a celebrity

Sent to us by the God Almighty

A celebrity is ego driven and lives for himself

We need a hero who’ll away from himself

The hero would be someone from us

He would be strong and courageous

Youngsters open your eyes and see

You can be heroes too, both you and me

You can do it and so can I

To be a hero you ought to aim for the sky

Open your eyes, you can rise high

Work hard and you’ll be a hero in everyone’s eye
