Bollywood’s romance with monsoon was immortalised when Raj Kapoor and Nargis sang Pyar Hua Ikraar Hua in Shree 420. Now MAX is all set to celebrate the rainy season with its July afternoon festival Tip Tip Barsa Pani. For two weeks starting Monday daily at 12 noon it will air Hindi films like Raja Hindustani, Chandni, Lamhe, Yeh Dillagi, Mohra and more. These films have been selected as all of them have at least one rain-inspired, foot-tapping song. In fact, some songs are so popular that the monsoon season has come to be associated with them.
