Rhyme Time

Granny dear

My grandmother is very good,

As she always cooks yummy food.

She has a kind heart,

From which come polite words.

At six in the morning, she goes for a walk,

And returns at 7 am.

After that she is busy in her work, Like a clerk.

At noon, after the collection of flowers,

She sleeps for an hour.

And after that she cooks food quickly,

Which is always healthy and hygienic.

In the evening, she watches television,

For this she has no reason.

I love her too much,

And she also loves me very much.

Life’s lesson

As I sit at the table tonight

To write my second poem of life,
I am reminded of Samraat Sir,
Who taught me the usage of
Simile and metaphor with his full might.

Taking a look at my life, I realise
That it is testing me all the time.
Having given my mother pain,
I have entered the eternal cycle of death and life.

The world is too big to be easily described.

There is the earnest desire for
Materialistic pleasure and good relations;

But, there is also sorrow and loneliness,

Which adds sauce to my life.
The two things that have pulled me
Through this strife,

Are my conscience true and

He, the bearer of my life.
