Rhyme Time
Magical night
What happened that
night?
Was it enchanting
or tragic?
Did someone fight?
Oh no! It was just
magic!
Who did it?
Was he a magician
or ghost?
Did he have
magical wit?
Oh no! It was just
my host!
What magic did he
do?
Was he exciting or
a bore?
Did he bring a
live zoo?
Oh no! It was just
a magical roar!
What happened
afterwards?
Was he with the
crowd or alone?
Did he speak a
word?
Oh no! He was just
gone!
Do we know him?
Was he later seen
or not?
Did he know you?
Oh yes! He was
just me!

Save the
planet
"Climate’s
changing" everyone seems to say,
There is a
conference here and there a survey.
Everybody seems to
be futuristic and optimistic,
But nobody is
realistic.
Axing of a tree
makes them go mad,
And saving paper
is an old fad.
"Plant trees,
plant trees," says he,
"Save paper,
save paper," says she
But his ACs are
emitting CFCs,
And her car is not
pollution-free.
We are ready with
our plans, they say,
But we will start
the next day.
Will the next day
ever come?
What will of the
earth become?
Let us not pass
responsibility,
Let us change the
earth with
sensibility.
Let us beautify
the earth,
And thus give it a
new birth.
