The 2006 hit The Return on March 1 at 9 pm on HBO stars Sarah Michelle Gellar playing a woman tormented by a past that she never had in real life. Gellar has been seeing increasingly haunting visions of a woman she’s never met being murdered in cold blood. She vividly sees a frightening psychopath kill the woman in cold blood. And every time she has this supernatural experience, she feels her body being drained of all energy. An otherwise successful career woman, Gellar soon starts turning into a mental wreck. Till the day she decides to follow her visions to uncover the truth. Her search leads her to her eerie hometown in Texas where her estranged father stays. There, she discovers that the murder she is trying to prevent may well be her very own. This is the second full-length film by Indian director Asif Kapadia who shot to fame with the Warrior that was nominated for three Bafta Awards.
