Rhyme Time
Exam fear

I celebrated Baisakhi, Diwali, Christmas last year

But now I fear

Because every new year brings examination fear

With the new year comes tension

For after two months

Iwill sit for examination

To do well in the test

I want to avoid rest

When someone looks

They find me busy in books

For a student every new year

Is a time to fear

Anyway I wish all the students

A very happy New Year

These beautiful roads

Carry many loads

They are joined with each other

Joining many places near and far

These roads are overloaded with vehicles

Used by many people

These roads remain very quiet

Even though they are being spoilt

They make people’s relations strong

Which go for long

These roads are crushed and made again

Still they don’t feel any pain.

May every person become like the road

Docile, strong and carrying others’ load

When the cool breeze

Makes the weather freeze

Our heart trembles

Just like bubbles

The green shady leaves

Fall from trees

Later the sun shines

Making the weather hot and fine

This is the game of nature

Sometimes summer

Sometimes winter
