The Department of Economic Affairs, under the Finance Ministry, has formulated an internship programme for young scholars. The internship would be for a period of two months at different points of time during the year, excluding December and February, an official said. Students, with a minimum aggregate of 55 per cent in graduation or postgraduation, pursuing research courses from recognised financial institutions or universities are eligible to apply for the programme. The last date of application for the programme is January 15.
