There
is good news for those Pakistanis who could not read President General
Pervez Musharraf’s book In the Line of Fire in English. The
much talked about book is to be published in four regional languages —
Sindhi, Punjabi, Balochi and Pashtun. According to The Nation,
publishing house Ferozsons (pvt) Limited, which has already published
the book in Urdu—Sub Se Pehlay Pakistan, will soon come out
with the book in the above regional languages. The owner of Ferozsons,
Zaheer ul Islam, has sought Sindh Education Minister Dr Hamida Khuhro’s
assistance for translating the book in Sindhi. "She agreed with the
request and arranged a meeting with experts of Sindhi language,"
sources said, adding that a subject specialist of Urdu at the Government
College Hyderabad, Iftikhar Ahmed, and a publisher and translator in
Urdu have translated the book in Sindhi. — ANI
