No book-lovers here
A week-long Jalandhar Book at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall has not got an encouraging response from the students or residents here. The fair started on Saturday last. There are more than 80 stalls of book -sellers and publishers displaying a wide variety of books on literature in English, Hindi Punjabi and Urdu. Children books and CDs based on stories, rhymes, games and concepts, of course, have some takers.

Students win space competition
Students of Police DAV Public School who had been selected for the NASA’s Asian Regional Space Settlement Design competition have now cleared the semi-final round held at Gurgaon. The 12-member team of the school along with their partners Team Force, Patiala, were given the project “Earth Mass Fusion Propulsion Settlement”.
