Rhyme Time
Unborn girl

I am a girl, daughter and sister,

Destined to face an unborn disaster

Let me explore the earth,

Don’t give me death before birth.

Oh mother! feel me, listen to me,

How can you kill me?

I can feel, see and listen to everything,

Am I not a human being

Within me lie Indira, Kalpana, Rani of Jhansi,

Give me a chance and then see

Father, I will be your power,

Save me, it’s the call of the hour,

Mother, I will be your friend,

Without me, how can you your life spend

Brother, who on your wrist will tie a rakhi thread,

When I am dead.

I will complete your family,

Make me your happily.

Mother dear

She consoles my every sore,

And lets down my spirit no more.

None is like her,

And she’s like none!

My angel and the only one.

Even a single drop from her deep brown eyes,

Is like the blood bath of my thousand aspirations.

She’s the best of all god’s creations!

My day begins with a glance at her glowing face,

I cherish my dreams with her grace.

Never has my soul been at rest,

Without a goodnight hug to her.

I owe every bit of mine from her.

It’s impossible to put her inner beauty in words,

She’s none other than my mother.
