Number game

Today is my maths exam,

In my mind algebra and geometry are in a traffic jam.

You can well imagine my plight,

Studying seriously the whole night.

Oh God! What was there in your mind?

When you made geometry and its kind.

To pass is the main aim,

It is only a number game.

Save water

Water, water you are a wonder,

Which creates rain and thunder.

You are colourless,

Without you, earth would be lifeless.

Water is life,

And life is to enjoy,

Not to destroy.

To save water is our duty,

Duty is life’s beauty.

Life ties

People go away but feelings persist,

Those emotions no one can resist.

Though away we can still talk,

Through often-visited paths, yes we can walk.

Such is the relation that none can steal,

A wound that even time fails to heal.

Any moment of our lives, we have memories fresh,

To start the journey from a spot afresh.

Eternal relations persist, break never,

But when we close the last chapter and separate forever.
