Mind of women
Jaspal Bhatti

My wife’s best friend Rini was giving her a tip on married life during a kitty party. "If your husband suddenly becomes more affectionate, you can for sure suspect him of having an extra-marital affair. Yeh apni chori chupane ke liye zyaada loving ho jaate hain!" she explained wisely.

What baffles me about women is that if I am silent and less demonstrative with my wife, she mistrusts me more and accuses me of being involved with someone else. To doubt one’s husband, I think, is the birthright of wives and we husbands should learn to respect it.

Recently a professor’s face was blackened and his beloved beaten up by his wife at Sultanganj police station in Patna. According to a statement made by Lalu Prasad Yadav, the professor and his girlfriend couldn’t be held guilty as they were true lovers. In view of this statement, I feel Lalu should be shifted from the Railways to the Ministry of Family Welfare. He seems to have a greater understanding of family affairs.

Many husbands, adept in extra-marital affairs, are now looking up to this Patna professor for inspiration. Similarly, the gutsy and vigorous pulling of the professor’s girlfriend’s long hair by his wife has motivated many wives. So the moral of the story is if your wife resembles an Amazon, see to it that your girlfriend has short hair.
