Full House: One good airing deserves another
Full House: One good airing deserves another

IT is back by popular demand and after innumerable passionate "reactions" from audiences across the country, Zee Cafe is bringing back the first family in American sitcoms as the fourth or the fifth re-run of Full House begins.

The sitcom had wooed the world in the late 1980s and the early 1990s.

Though most of its characters must be old and grey, the series has not lost its appeal. And the viewers keep coming back. Or at least that’s what Zee Caf`E9 is hoping as Full House makes yet another appearance. — NF

Toon time on DD

Cartoon Network has designed a new show exclusively for the viewers of Doordarshan titled Cartoon Network Duniya.

The hour-long show will be aired every Saturday at 10.30 p.m. and feature two of Turner’s popular productions — M.A.D (Music, Art and Dance show) and Codename: Kids Next Door.

"Doordarshan’s extensive reach across India will enable kids in non-C&S (cable and satellite) homes to enjoy Turner’s engaging original production, that has so far been limited to C&S homes," said Anshuman Misra, managing director of Turner International India.

"In the preliminary stage, the highly rated M.A.D and popular animation series Codename: Kids Next Door will serve as the perfect introduction to new viewers.

Later in the year, Galli Galli Sim Sim will further enhance this appeal by showcasing content that is both educational and entertaining in nature." Galli Galli Sim Sim is the Indian version of the globally renowned pre-school series Sesame Street. The show is aimed at serving 157 million children under the age of six in India and is also committed to supporting India’s Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (Universal Access to Education).
