Rhyme TIME

Missing you, mother

You are my friend, my guide my mother,

My feelings for you are like none other.

You gave me birth and my life,

You taught me all things nice.

I don’t know what I would do,

If in my life, I did not have you.

Today, I may be away, but I am not far from your heart,

For distances cannot keep us apart.

After being away from you I know the meaning of separation,

For now, I realise what you and me, have in relation.

When I think of you I can’t help crying.

The whole world is there but no one is mine,

There are nights when I remain awake and wish you were with me.

And in the millions it’s your face I could see.

I know soon I will be in your arms,

This is what gives me balm.

Keep smiling

Let a smile always light up your face,

As it adds to your grace.

Always smile, don’t be ever sad,

Even though things may have turned bad.

A smile can change your life’s trends,

It can even turn enemies to dear friends.

If you want to have a good profile,

Always carry yourself with a sweet smile.

If you want to win the hearts of others,

Just keep smiling in all weathers,

If you want a happy life,

Always keep up your lovely smile
