Oscar winning director Oliver Stone has slammed Madonna’s performance as the famous Argentinian first lady Eva Peron in the 1996 musical Evita, and thinks that though the Hung Up singer played the ‘hooker’ part of Peron’s to perfection, she failed when it came to playing the ‘saint’ part of her life. Stone, who had wanted to be the one to make the bio-pic on Peron’s life, said that Madonna had been the wrong choice for the role, for she had been able to play one part of Peron’s life.
