Rhyme TIME

Game of life

Life is a tough game,

One has to work hard to achieve fame.

Life is not a bed of roses,

It is a mix of joys and sorrows.

Life is precious,

It is a dish quite delicious.

In life, one faces both ups and downs,

Do good deeds and do not frown,

Life is given by God to all,

Make use of it and help all.

Say no to dowry

Bride burnt to death,

Another dowry death,

These similar headlines we stare at every day,

With marriage being reduced to business each day.

This not only happens to women illiterate and backward,

But even with those who are professionals and educated.

Like a termite, dowry is eating our society,

It is lowering the bride’s dignity.

The problem of dowry must be tackled soon,

Or girls will disappear like an empty road on a hot summer noon.

Lovely rabbits

Rabbits are very cute,

Walking and jumping, they remain mute.

Eating grass and their favourite carrots,

They do not chatter like parrots.

They make their abode in deep holes,

Men can’t chase them even with huge ropes.

Rabbits are getting extinct day by day,

For this humans will have to pay.
