Rhyme TIME

Earth’s beauty

Long long ago,

Along with the Earth, Nature flowered,

Clouds, birds talked of Earth’s beauty,

Earth took a round in joy,

And thus began its rotation,

Trees, flowers were its joys,

For its recreation,

Man being its child loved it.

Nature in turn, fussed upon him,

Now humans have grown.

In a bid to make a separate world,

He is completely being thrown,

By Nature and the Earth.

What does he possess now,

Pollution, disease and sorrow.

Do you care?

Do you care?

When I am not born as a boy so you mourn.

Do you care?

When I need a toy

so would have cared if I were a boy.

Do you care?

When I am hungry or freezing

When I am late awake or when I have to bear people teasing.

Do you care?

When I am sad,

Others when see me call me mad

Do you care?

When I feel low

and when I get a blow at every step

Let me tell you who I am

I am that girl like a burden tied

I am not called, I am not loved

I am not praised, I am not hugged

Never for me will the troubles they bear

Then, I say, ‘Do you really care’.
