Rhyme TIME

Bhagat Singh

He was a man with much willpower,

With this he tried to strike the English tower.

He promised to defeat the British,

For this many called him childish.

When he saw the massacre at the
Jallianwala Bagh,

He was stunned seeing women and men being ripped apart.

He sacrificed his blood,

To spread the message of freedom.

Like him no one can think,

He shines all over the world like a king.

Age of fantasy

Everybody passes through an age of sense and nonsense,

Called the age of adolescence.

Everyone passes through this stage of life,

When strength is at its fullest and spirits high.

To him only what he thinks makes sense,

What elders say is obviously nonsense.

He lives in a world of fantasies,

Away from life’s realities.

Parents’ words seem sharper than the sword,

Books and ethics get him easily bored.

He is a man of his wishes and words,

Away from the crowd and herds.

Candy

Candy is sweet,

Candy is yummy,

Candy is nice in my tummy,

Candy tastes really good,

Candy tastes like all veggies should.
