The Wall

Rahul O Rahul,

You are the great Indian wall,

who defends the ball without letting it fall.

You can be dangerous in a certain situation,

which the bowler can’t predict from their vision,

When you scored 270 runs,

I thought of eating delicious buns,

Your batting does Indians proud,

You stand out in the crowd

Beauty of waves

Sitting by the shore,

Watching the huge wave.

I enjoyed the beauty,

Which nature gave.

The wave seemed as high as a fort.

It imprinted its memory on my heart.

I heard the approaching rumble,

Sounded like a hungry stomach’s grumble.

On its crest, danced a beam.

Suddenly the alarm rang,

Telling me it was all a dream.

Top of the world

When I stood first in my class I was on the top of the world,

I shouted, jumped and whirled.

I was really excited and overwhelmed,

I danced in the class and yelled.

It was an amazing experience,

I understood its significance.

My dream was fulfilled,

And my sorrow were killed.

The day was very special,

And my happiness was not artificial.

It was a memorable day,

As I was happy and gay.
