rhyme time
Number trouble

Maths is a subject which I dislike,

Since it makes me work till late night.

Doing algebra is mind-boggling routine,

Since the complexities have increased

When I have entered the teens.

In maths, X is a sign of danger I suppose,

Solving such sums is not a feasible dose.

Geometry, reasoning powers are required,

Which I have still not acquired.

I find myself completely at sea,

Even if I work like a bee.

Flower power

What is a flower?

For us, it is just a plant,

But it’s not just something that looks good.

It is something that gives us hope.

We see the flowers in gloom,

By plucking them we do not let them bloom.

In school and at home, we see lots and lots of flowers.

When we pluck them, we do not understand their pain.

Flowers, flowers, everywhere,

Some white, some red, some yellow.

They look good and beautiful,

They also make us feel delightful.

Flowers are gifts of nature,

Do not pluck or spoil them.

Just look at their beauty,

You get some hope.

Flowers are not just flowers,

They have a lot of power.

Learn from them to be united,

Never fight and you will become a star.
