Today’s woman

Women in history,

Lived lives full of mystery.

Enclosed in a room,

They spent hours with the broom.

Never did they go out,

Beyond the house.

As time passed,

They changed their cast.

Fought for their rights,

To attain great heights.

If now one is a mother,

The other is a worker.

They changed their route,

To the path of truth.

Teacher’s Day

Everyone has one favourite teacher,

But I have two favourite teachers,

Inderjit ma’m and Subhnandan ma’m

I love both of them

I respect them

Both are special

And highly regarded by all

Wishing "Happy Teacher’s Day" to you both

From your student Harjot

My town

Solan is my hometown,

It is a hill town.

There are many trees,

Here blows a lovely breeze.

It has a clear blue sky,

But sometimes it does rain.

Clouds, birds, people

make Solan mine.
