TO celebrate its fifth anniversary, SAE, a media education college, held a grand function at its Mumbai campus recently. It was attended by the students, alumni, staff and a leading name in commercial music, Anu Malik, who interacted with the budding audio engineers of the country. Malik stressed on the importance of technical know-how in the audio industry.He discussed how techniques with creativity in music could create wonders for future audio aspirants. He lauded the contribution of colleges like SAE which provide the talented music aspirants with technical knowledge. He then cut the cake to commemorate the anniversary and gave the first piece to Rahul Bhatt, an Audio Engineering student of SAE Mumbai, who was one of the finalists of the Unisong International Song Contest, for his pop ballad “Sailing Away”. SAE veterans from the industry interacted with the existing students about what all it takes to make it big in the entertainment business.
