Death trap

A cigarette eats a man

As a termite eats the wood

And leads to all that is not so good

Money is wasted, relations are strained

Initially, it gives a person immense pleasure

Soon he realises, he has lost his treasure

Don’t get entangled in this web

Which will leave you nowhere

Life of a student

Early in the morning he gets up at seven,

At night he sleeps at eleven.

Study study... during these 17 hours,

Not even time to gaze at the stars.

Lots to study and no play,

Will surely make him a dull guy.

Everything should be distributed equally,

So that he gets up in the morning hopefully.

It’s true his life can’t be a bed of roses,

But at least he can have in his life’s bed two or three roses.

Time is precious

To realise the value of one year.

Ask a student who has not been promoted to the next class.

To realise the value of one month.

Ask a mother who has given birth to a baby.

To realise the value of one week

Ask the editor of a weekly

To realise the value of one day

Ask a daily wager

To realise the value of one hour.

Ask a student who is appearing for an exam.

To realise the value of one minute.

Ask a person who has missed the train.

Every second, time is precious.
