Rhyme time

Never quit

When things go wrong

As they sometimes will,

When the road you’re trudging

Seems uphill,

When the funds are low

And debts running high

You want to smile;

But you have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit...

Rest if you must

but don’t quit.

Enter the garden

In the garden, I entered from a gate of brass,

Over there I saw cows grazing the grass.

There I found planted carrots,

In the sky there were many parrots.

On the sides were beautiful beds of flowers,

In the middle was a fountain which looked like a shower.

Over there I ran around,

And had a stroll in the ground.

The trees there were very high,

It seemed as if they were touching the sky.

Then I sat under the sun,

And had lots of fun.

Win hearts

It is the simplest way to win hearts,

And also to gain confidence,

Peace of mind is got by it,

And, in mind, the reward is fit,

In the form of affection and goodwill,

But its antonym can kill,

It should be inspired by all to children,

For our future depends on them,

That thing is the best policy?

.... it is simply honest!
