Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhang 7, Dhundhi and Solangnala 4 each, Patsio 3, Bhuntar 2 and Guler, Ghamroor, Nagrotasurian and Shimla 1 each and Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 9, Batote 7, Banihal and Kupwara 4 each and Srinagar 1.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell largely in Himachal Pradesh, fell appreciably in Punjab, fell in Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: These were markedly above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in west Rajasthan, markedly below normal in Punjab, appreciably below normal in Himachal Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region.
