Rhyme time
Help the needy

As time ends its flight

As day turns to night

The same way 2004

we wish you goodbye.

As 2005 starts its journey

I hope it brings in money

Since, 2004 went away

in a disastrous way.

People have suffered

but should they leave hope

No, of course not,

because there’s a long way to go

As in words of Vivekanand

I would like to say

"Arise! Awake!"

Enjoy 2005 with a little less money

give some to the poor and

those left with nothing.

Enjoy 2005 with a little less fun

Help those who are needy and those left with none.

Happy New Year

New Year’s arrival is

cherished by all,

Irrespective of big or small.

For all, may it be a

glorious new year,

Without falling from any eye

even a single tear.

May all be surrendered

to God’s fear,

This is what I ask for

in the New Year.

Let it be full of pleasant surprises,

With all getting enormous

gifts and prizes.

May no one be miserable,

sick or sad,

All sharing fortunes and

feeling extremely glad.

United be the whole world again,

With everyone dumping

hatred in the drain.

Let all live a life to help and glare,

And seek God’s blessings by
a humble prayer.

May the coming year shine

in the history,

For its great and wonderful

mysteries.
