Rhyme time Azure sky
The sky is blue, No one finds any clue, It is full of many stars, But none dares to do wars In morning there is sun, In winter it is fun, At night there is moon, Which is a great boon It is sometimes cloudy, And becomes windy and rainy, Again when the sun shines, Everything becomes fine Sometimes appears the rainbow, On seeing it, children’ face glow I wish my country to reach the heights of sky For this every Indian must try. Ankur Mohan, Class IX, Open the door Why doesn’t a man open the door When he sees one closed? Why does he like to stay in isolation When the whole world is open to him? Why doesn’t he laugh or cry for others? Why doesn’t he appreciate The beautiful gift of life that God has given? Why? Why? I ask you my friends, Why aren’t you what you could be? Why are your flowers polluted? Why are your stems so weak? Why are your roots withdrawn When they could have spread all the way? Why don’t you open the doors of nature And appreciate what God has gifted to us?
