Coaching Centre, Sector 23, and Sanjay Public School Club, Sector 44, emerged winners in girls and boys section, respectively, in the Chandigarh State Junior Kho-Kho Championship played at Government Model High School, Sector 43, here today. Mr Ravinder Talwar, secretary, Chandigarh Olympic Association, was the chief guest. He later gave away the prizes.

In the girls’ final, Coaching Centre-23 defeated Government High School-43 by one turn and 13 points. The third place was bagged by Government Model High School, Sector 28, who beat Government High School, Sector 24, by one turn and one point.

In the boys’ final, Sanjay Public School Club-44 got the better of GMHS-43 by one turn and seven points. The third place in this section went to Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya, Sector 25, who beat Eagle Club by one turn and two points.
