A dream about receiving or posting a letter is considered a lucky omen

LETTERS in dreams can be a symbol of wish fulfillment or evoke a fear or dread for bad tidings.

As per Indian myth, both receiving as well as posting a letter to some one is a lucky omen. Should you see that you are sending a letter to someone, it portends the completion of anauspicious event. You shall be able to share other people’s pains and troubles and give priority to their welfare. If you dream about receiving a letter, it indicates that you shall receive gifts. You could also receive some good news regarding someone who is in a foreign land.

Should the letter in your dream be torn, it implies that you’ll make mistakes which shall ruin your reputation.

As per western thought, should you see a registered letter in your dreams, you need to be cautious, for money matters could break up relationships. Should you receive an anonymous letter, then beware of injury from an unexpected source.
