A Dubai-based leading IT solutions provider has entered the Indian market with a software product for the domestic multi-billion-rupee jewellery market.

Topline Technologies has unveiled the Jewellery Management System (JEMS) software in India that aims to help jewellery industry to streamline their business and improve customer services.

"JEMS addresses critical problems faced by jewellers and manages their various activities, including real-time gold inventory versus jewellery sales directly," said Prabhakar Achar, managing director of Topline Technologies.

"The software follows a completely re-engineered business and functional process that enhances the business operations to provide efficient services to customers," Achar told IANS.

Set up by Indian expatriates, the 13-year-old Topline has developed the software product in association with its partner, Fusion Systems Solutions, to offer an array of solutions to the jewellery manufacturers, wholesale and retail traders.

Billed as one of its kind software in the world, the product addresses the multiple needs of the Indian jewellery industry, which currently operates on standalone computers with limited software systems and functionalities.
