A Cingular "Fast Forward" cradle and Motorola mobile phone model 9255 that can reroute all 
cellular calls to home number whenever the user drops mobile handset into a special cradle that 
doubles as a phone charger.

Sony Corp's new portable desktop computer VAIO P PCV-P101 is displayed in Tokyo. The Vaio P, 1,280mm (50 inches) in width and 768mm (30 inches) in height, is equipped with a foldable stand and handle for easy mobility, the company said. Sales kick off on November 22 in Japan for about 1,80,000 yen ($1,650).

Johnny Tsou of Taiwan's memory maker Kingmax displays what they claim to be the world's first waterproof secure digital (SD) card, with a 512 MB memory in Taipei. The card retails for T $ 8,000 ($235) a piece.

University of Electro-Communications graduate student Yusuke Fujii shows desktop microrobots moving a precision particle on a "stage" at Exhibition Micromachine 2003 in Tokyo. Approximately one cubic inch in size, each robot is composed of piezo elements for micro locomotion and electromagnets for fixing itself on surfaces.

The Microsoft Corporation announced the exclusive availability of the Samsung SCH-i600 Smartphone with Microsoft Windows Mobile software from Verizon Wireless.
