Dressing up men for all events
Our Correspondent

Vipin HandaLudhiana, November 2
“There has been a definite change in the way the Prime Minister dresses up these days.
He is wearing more vibrant and earthy colours as we have designed clothes in real silk for him lately,” said Vipin Handa, the brain behind Villa Appearances, a range for men’s clothing. He was in the city today to inaugurate a Villa Appearances showroom on the Pakhowal road.

The showroom will showcase the entire range of Villa Appearances. Besides readymade clothes, it will also offer customised tailoring.

Talking to mediapersons, Vipin said, “Villa Appearances designs for all celebration events for men. After all, marriage is an important event in the life of a man. So we decided to dress men for all events, including cocktail, sangeet, wedding, reception and even honeymoon. Brides want grooms to dress up as well.”

“The men fancy wearing embroidered jackets with ‘kundan work’. Even complicated designs from Taj Mahal are being copied on designer suits.

The fabric used are satins, pure silks, crepes, linen and pure wool. In summers, since it is an off-season for weddings, we design shirts,” he said.

Vipin said he also designed interiors by providing Victorian cupboards, rare artifacts and old furnishings. His name is associated with the world of theatre, television and films. He has also directed a show on Zee TV, “Dastak”.
