Silent admirer
You never knew who was I,
But I felt between us a
strong tie.
You never knew how much I
knew about you,
But I kept an eye on
everything you’d do.
I was never a loser
Because I was your silent
admirer.
Time seemed to fly,
I kept hoping that you
would pass by.
But it never happened that
way,
I began losing hope day by
day.
I never felt like being a
loser
And so I was your silent
admirer
You left my life and went
somewhere far,
Perhaps to follow some
unknown distant star.
You never came to know me,
Because I didn’t do the
things that would make you see.
Still I never felt like
being a loser,
And continued being your
silent admirer.

Monsoon
Monsoon, monsoon, lovely
monsoon,
Come to see us late or
soon.
The sky is full of clouds,
Lightening and thunder
aloud.
Then came the torrential
rain
And all the children were
dancing in the lane.
After that the farmer
sowed the seed,
And the next drizzle
produced weed.
The rain made the tiller’s
face bright,
And then came the light
Of happiness, prosperity
and goodwill,
And till the next year, we
bid it farewell.

Love
Patient and kind,
Difficult to find.
Doesn’t easily part,
It lives in the heart.
Filled with precious
moments,
Based on faith and trust,
It is a tonic which is a
must.
A bond unbreakable,
Very strong, yet feeble.
Free like a wild dove,
It is true love.
