The United Kingdom-based Vanguard Group, the telecommunication provider, will pump in Rs 1.2 crore to enable Karun to pursue his racing goals.

Karun, delighted with the deal, said, “This has been something that we’ve been working towards for a while. I am really grateful to everyone at the Vanguard Group and I’am looking forward to a long and successful partnership between us over the coming years. I am very happy to have a well-known multinational brand on board. They are a bit different to my other sponsors in that they’re based more in Europe and it’s great to have them join our consortium.

Now with Vanguard pledging support till I make it into F-I, my path into the big league will certainly be much easier. Hopefully, we will soon get an auto manufacturer on board as well”.
