Sukhshinder ShindaSUKSHINDER Shinda's knack of mixing Punjabi rhyme and rhythm with a western beat makes his name a familiar one to music lovers. His name is synonymous with bhangra. His career started in Birmingham. He has played live on some of the best-known stages of the world.

In the beginning, Sukhshinder was known as a composer who had overseen the development of several talented singers. His music has also featured on some Bollywood soundtracks. But his latest offering Gal Sun Ja promises to surpass his previous hits. In this album, the composer has turned singer, and presents to his fans eight Punjabi tracks. And the lovers of bhangra music can look forward to some foot-tapping numbers. His fans still remember his albums Soorma, Chak De Boly, Has Bol Ve and Oh Kehri. Gal Sun Ja promises to be better than all these. In this album Shinda has not only composed the numbers but also sung them. Today Shinda is in demand for his voice. Gal Sun Ja takes his talent to new heights with lyrics penned by Satinder Kala (USA), Amar Singh Musapuri and Pinda Dhaliwal. Added to this delightful mix of eastern music and western beat are the production standards of TIPS. This debut solo album of Shinda promises to make bhangra music immortal.

 

Sukhshinder Shinda has been in the music business for more than a decade. He has worked with a number of top singers and was instrumental in launching Jazzy B's music career. Shinda produced and composed Jazzy B’s first album. His powerful has the flavour of the sub-continent as well as of the UK. This producer, composer and musician from Handsworth, UK, has composed music for A. S. Kang (Aish Karo) and Jazzy B (Oh Kehri). He was introduced to the world of music by his mentor, Kuldip S. Matharu, and trained under the legendary dhol master Laal S. Bhatti and Ustad Mathleshji. Trained by these maestros, Shinda revolutionised the sound of the harmonium, the tabla and the keyboard. Shinda is known for his penchant for mixing folk-style ballads with dance numbers. Hit songs like Tera Roop, Naag, Daroo, Jawani and Dil Di Gali are a testimony to his skills.
