Arena multimedia in
China
IN
a bid to tap IT training opportunities in China, Aptech is planning to
launch its ‘Arena Multimedia’ brand in that country this month with
20 new centres initially ramping it to 60 centres in 8 months’ time.
Aptech’s multimedia brand is aimed at enabling the use of multimedia
in various spheres such as advertising, print and publishing, animation
and entertainment amongst others.
XLRI-Hughes
XLRI, Jamshedpur, one
of the India’s premier management institute, announced the launch of
India’s most prestigious Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources
Management (PGCHRM) Programme in technology collaboration with the
Hughes Escorts Communications Limited, India’s leading satellite
broadband service provider, over their DirecWay Global Education
platform. This program is the second long-term program from XLRI to be
offered on the DirecWay platform.
Testing centre
New Horizons India Ltd,
the joint venture between New Horizons Worldwide and Shriram Global
Technologies, announced the New Horizons facility has been certified as
an authorised Prometric testing centre. Prometric, a part of the Thomson
Corporation, is the leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment
services for information technology certification, academic admissions,
and professional license and certifications. The certification provided
at the New Horizons Prometric centre will benefit students and IT
professionals.
