Mother

To me who bears the sweetest name

And adds a lustre to the same

No bouquet can tell how much beauty

She has brought to my life.

No message can convey

How much she is loved by me.

Some things are beyond words and expressions

There is no other

Who can take the place of my dear mother

My mom is simply the best

I wish long life to her!

The ship of dreams

Titanic, the ship of dreams,

Was called the queen of queens.

She was majestic and magnificent,

Several people came aboard at an instant.

She set sail one fine day,

The people were merry and gay.

Well established with all the luxuries,

She was provided with all accessories.

An iceberg struck her hard on the side,

She began to sink in the deep waters of the tide.

People became helpless and quite miserable,

She tilted and they fell chair over table.

She broke and cracked, approached the brink of destruction,

Everyone moaned and wailed.

She strived and struggled, but was devoured,

The Atlantic engulfed her, offering a death card.

The unbreakable, the unsinkable ship had drowned,

Whereas the strongest ship in the world she’d been crowned.

Such was her dreadful ending,

But her recovery is still pending.

You

Amid the shadows of deception

A light was piercing through it

That light was you

I was in the company of isolation

A sound was there which broke the silence

That sound was you

I was dumb, wanted to speak some words

Words which would make life’s meaning come true

Those words are you

I was thirsty, searching for an ocean

My search ended when I met you

My search was for you

If only one wish of mine would be granted

Your name would be whispered when I’ll ask for it

My first and last wish is you
