This is official Website of Department of Telecommunications, Government of India (DoT). This site has information related to Indian Telecommunication. On this site, a dropdown is given which can be used to get information related to various services like basic services, cellular mobiles, national long distance, international long distance, VSAT and the Internet. Various DoT plans and policies are also available. Information regarding telecom-related Acts and legislations in India and Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) are given on this site. Details of grant of license to provide Cellular Mobile Telephone Service (CMTS) on non-exclusive basis and tender for USO support for existing VPTs are given here.
