‘Cricketing
Safari’ photo exhibition New Delhi, May 7 Dronacharya cricket coach Ramakanth Achrekar was the guest of honour at the function. Cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Amit Mishra were also present, along with a host of others. Over 120 photographs, evocatively capturing the on and off field actions of the World Cup, are on display. Kamal Sharma had earlier mounted an exhibition at the same venue on the images he captured when the World Trade Centre twin towers crashed in the USA. Kirti Azad described Kamal Sharma as the “Sachin Tendulkar of cricket photography”. The exhibition is open for public viewing from 10 am to 7 pm on all days till May 11. |

Lov, son of former wrestling champion Satpal, was presented the man of the match award by his father.
