Words

If only words could say

Everything we feel

It wouldn’t take forever

For broken hearts to heal

Trembling lips

Moist eyes

Hollow laughter

Silent cries

Supportive hand

Warm embrace

Ardent smile

Reassuring face

Firm handshake

Idle stare

Sweaty palms

Eyes that care

They tell you more

Than words could ever say

I would go on and on

But words get in my way

Gulf War II

America has started the Gulf War,

It seems that its end is very far.

America is attacking Iraq with missiles,

Civilians are suffering all the while.

Saddam is the major reason for this attack,

America is trying to put him off the track.

As we know, Saddam is very unkind,

Throw away Saddam is always on Bush’s mind.

Many people are protesting against Bush’s action,

This is the reason for United Nations’ tension.

Saddam has burnt his oil wells,

Capturing these is difficult, Saddam tells.

Due to this war, prices of oil have been hiked,

To stop the war, many countries have tried.

We hope that this war will end soon,

For Iraq, this would be a great boon,

War and peace

What is peace, it is love,

Happy and pure like a dove.

What is war, it is hate.

Ready to destroy everyone’s fate.

Peace makes the world a happy peace to live,

It means not to take but only give.

War will bring humanity to an end.

Appropriate help, who will lend?

Bush’s eye is on war today,

And none but Saddam is in his way.

This war can do nothing but harm,

Instead of being angry,Bush should be calm,

People being killed, places being destroyed,

Seeing all this, Bush would be overjoyed.

But for how long, will all this last,

When will the clouds of happiness be cast?
