Boston Software
Consultants India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum Of
Agreement with Directorate of Youth Services, Andhra Pradesh Government,
to train 1,000 unemployed youth in the next financial year for insurance
agents. In this initiative, the Boston Group will set up an e-learning
course on insurance on their financial portal,
www.financialcampusindia.com. It is designed to provide online basic
insurance course, which will be available in English and Telugu.
Thermal printers
To broaden its range of
customised coding and marking solutions, Imaje India has recently
launched MP series, a new range of thermal printers in India. With
advanced software tools, the printers are designed to fit into many
different systems at varying levels of integration, making them
perfectly suited to the transport, warehousing, healthcare and ticketing
industries. This range comes with a printing resolution of up to 300 dpi
and a variety of films and thermal papers.
.NET 2003 in April
Microsoft Corporation
India Pvt. Ltd. has announced that it will launch the next version of
its application development tool, Visual Studio .NET 2003 (previously
code named Everett) in India in April. The product will be launched in
conjunction with Windows Server 2003 - and includes features and core
enhancements
that leverage the new Windows platform.
Windows Server 2003 is the next release of the popular Windows operating
system and developer platform, which integrates the .NET Framework and
offers enhanced application services, providing the right environment
for developing n-tier applications.
