Pvt. Limited (LGEIL) has announced the launch of MY PC range of personal
computers in the domestic market. The LG MY PC series is available in
two configurations—Basic and Multimedia. The multimedia PC has a PIV,
128 MB RAM, 40 GB HDD, LG 15" Monitor, LG 52X CD-ROM, Optical mouse
keyboards, speakers and free Internet hours. The basic model is
configured as PIV, 128 MB RAM, 40GB HDD, LG 15" Monitor, optical
mouse and keyboard. The PCs are loaded with Linux Operating System.
Motorola campus
Motorola is investing
$13 million in setting up a new campus for its Global Software Group (GSG
aka MIEL in India) at Bangalore. The campus will be ready by January
2004. The 2,80,000 square feet campus is being set up for the Motorola
Global Software Group (GSG) to integrate its two existing centres in
Bangalore under one roof and address its expansion plans over the next
few years.
