Star style

Name: Amisha Patel

Date of birth: June 9

Most comfortable in: Shorts and T-shirt. Even pyjamas.

Designers I like: Shahid, Vikram Phadnis, Manish Malhotra and Neeta Lulla. Neeta is a hot favourite because her outfits have a personality of their own. Of late she’s been doing my clothes and I am really glad about that.

My clothes are important ‘coz: They speak about me, my personality.

When in Mumbai I shop at: Manish Malhotra’s Reverie or Rockeys’ shop for my personal clothes, though mostly I buy them from abroad.

At a non-film party, I’d love to wear: Something plain and simple. Less conventional. A plain black dress would be fine. If I can’t think of anything a jeans and shirt are the best.

At a wedding, I’d wear: Conventional stuff. Anything Indian with lots of jewellery. The most well-dressed male-female film star is: Mr Bachchan is the ultimate man for me. Amongst the actresses I love the way Madhubala looked and now Madhuri Dixit.

The most well dressed male/female non-film star is:
I love Ricky Martin and Madonna.

Jewellery I like: I love bangles. I have loads of them in all the possible colours. I love shoes and bags too.

My skin is good ‘coz: I have gone through patches of bad skin days. But I never go to bed without cleaning my face. When I am not shooting, I don’t put any make-up on. I wash my face at least twice a day.

Cosmetics I use: Professional make-up. I apply foundation, lipstick, mascara and eyeliner as a must. And on screen there’s blush, powder, and many more things on my face.

My favourite perfume is: Isseymiyake

I style my hair from: Dilshad.

My menu for a good diet is: I never diet. But I am not a foody. I eat what ever I feel like.
