Spoilsports!

In the class when I talk or fight

The teacher roars, "Keep quiet!"

On Sunday I go out to play,

In the sun;

Mummy frowns and spoils my fun.

During rains I hop into the muddy pool,

Seeing my clothes papa loses his cool.

At Kaku’s home my friends come to play,

He growls and shoos them away.

I’m so small but my problem is big,

O my elders, let me laugh, sing and jig!

I believe

I believe in my dreams,

I will never loose hope.

I believe in my ambition,

So with competition I can cope.

I believe in my talents,

And will make the best of it,

I believe in my future

For which I will work bit by bit.

I believe in my abilities,

I will make my own name.

I believe I can do it,

So I can win life’s game.

I believe in my strengths,

I want to lead the throng,

I believe in Almighty God,

Who keeps us from wrong.

I believe in my vision,

I trust my instincts.

I believe in reality,

So my fate never gets jinxed.

I believe in myself,

Though the world may not.

Now anything is possible,

Because I believe it is.

Tell me why

There’s no end to man’s greed,

Oh God, can’t you create some better breed?

Selfishness is man’s identity,

He is creating injustice & inequity

Can you tell me why?

The incidents of horror and terror

Everyone will remember

Man has become a

Dread to his own kind.

Can you tell me why?
