APTECH Computer Education, the flagship brand of an IT training company, has announced its new Aptech certified hardware professional course that focuses on networking and hardware training. The hardware industry is an attractive career option for those inclined towards this field. Statistics suggest that it has the potential to reach $62 billion by 2010, that is, 12 times the existing size. The domestic market will account for $37 billion and exports for another $25 billion of this figure. This means there will be an increased demand for hardware professionals.

Canon printer

Canon, an imaging technology organisation, has launched the S820 bubble jet printer in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 22,995, the S820 is the first of its kind printer to facilitate A4 size borderless printing in less than three minutes. This printer is targeted at professional users like photographers and digital printers who look at reproducing the ‘original picture look’ with the best in class for their printing quality. The borderless printing on the S820 is due to the high 2400 dpi resolution, brilliant colour ink and the ultra fine 4 picol litre ink droplet feature incorporated in the Canon S820. The product comes with a printer driver that has in-built facilities like vivid photo and a photo & image optimiser.

Daksh-Hero Mindmine

Hero Mindmine, a call centre training institute, signed an MOU with Daksh e-Services, a leading call centre services organisation, under which Hero Mindmine will help Daksh in resourcing customer service executives for its voice and Web operations. Daksh will recruit students who have been trained and certified by Hero Mindmine as well as freshers who meet the selection criteria. Daksh and Hero Mindmine had earlier offered the first internship program in this industry, where the students got the opportunity to undergo a paid on-the-job training at Daksh.
