Hide the drive(s)

HERE'S
the trick to start with and be a boss of your computer. This is trick by
which you can hide all your drives from viewing, in My Computer. To do
this go this way. Click on Start > Run > type regedit.exe. You
will get two frames on the left side click on the plus sign before
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > software >Microsoft > Windows >Current
version > Policies > Explorer > Now in the right hand side
frame you will see a few values. Right click there >new >DWORD
value > Rename it to NoDrives >Right click on it >Modify >in
the value data write 3FFFFFF(Hexadecimal Value). Now press F5 to
refresh. The drives will not be shown in My Computer. In order to see
your drives again just delete the same entry from the registry (NoDrives)
where you put it. Press F5 again and restart computer. All your drives
are visible now.
Restart/Shutdown
Restart button:
Let’s see how to put the Restart button on the desktop. Right click on
the desktop >new >shortcut>In the command line field type C:\
windows\ rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindowsexec>next>write any name
here like Restart>Finish. Now when you will click on that button, the
computer will restart without any warning message and that too with a
greater speed.
Shutdown button:
You can make a shutdown button on your desktop to ease out the shutdown
procedure. Just click this button and computer will automatically shut
down. To make this button right click any where on your
desktop>new>shortcut>in the command line field write c:\
windows\ rundll.exe user.exe,exitwindows>next>give any name like
Shutdown…>finish. A button will be created on your desktop and when
you will press it, the computer will shutdown.
