The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) today withdrew its controversial order which said that the ground in front of the Red Fort should not be allotted to anyone for staging the Ram Lila. The withdrawal of the order followed a spate of protests from Ram Lila committees and politicians.

Young girl stabbed to death at home

Two youths, in a daring incident, entered the house of a lady teacher in Richhpal Puri Mohalla under Kotwali police station and stabbed her young daughter to death. The assailants also took away the gold chain and rings worn by her.
